We decided a few weeks ago it was time for some color outside! So we rounded up all of our planters and then headed off to the store. The kids had fun getting to pick all the plants out at the store. This is something I have tried to do with them every year, but this year the were both a lot more interested in planting. Coop was interested by all the roots in each of the plants.
We started with Grandma Thies's pot. Well I made it into a pot anyway. Not sure what she used to use it for. Anyway love walking by it knowing it was hers at one time! Coop knows who she is too and talks about her from stories I have told and pictures I have seen. I am sure she is smiling when he does this.

Coop's next and picked the hanging plant. Grandma Sally gave that to us last year.

telling them they could be silly next. The silly ones always turn out to be my favorite because, it reminds me of them the most!!!
