On Mother's day Coop decided it was time to try out the bike without the training wheels. I knew he was ready, but I never expected him to ride like he'd been doing it for weeks. Jason helped me by taking the training wheels off and then ran beside him. I stayed back with the camera. So... on he hopped and he is hardly out of the driveway before he started off on his own.
This is literally still in front of the house. You can see he was looking back here and telling Jason to "let go"! Man did he take off!!! I was running behind them like a crazy mom in sandals and a camera. Kylee was at least at my side on her bike. I was shouting down the street "Way to go Coop"... I think I deleted a good 10 or so sky pictures that I took while running!

Here he decided he was ready to "roll" all on his own! This was maybe 10 minutes after his first attempt at riding. I guess when you are ready... you are just ready!
So proud of my little man!! He has been on a bike ride since and did great getting started and stopping on his own. He is very cautious of cars, hills, and his sister! All appreciated!
