Coop's 6th Birthday Family Birthday Party

So Coop picked a football theme again this year for his birthday party.  NFL or college he was flexible on, just wanted football shirts and football food.

Here is the sister Husker!  Pretty in pink with Husker tattoos!

Grrrrr!!  Tough girl!!

My babies all ready for the FUN to start!

So along with the football theme... Coop asked Grandma Sally for a snake cake.  My gosh did she deliver!  A snake cake complete with sticks and dirt.  Cooper loved it and he's already planning next years idea!

Family shot.  We ended up moving the party back to Waverly because of the rain.  In the end it worked out perfect having it there.  Thank goodness for the garage.

Look who it stretching for a chocolate kiss...

Peplinski's enjoying a little conversation time.

More Peplinski's arrive.  Such a cute "button" as Jason would say.

Opening presents.

Just realized he got a marshmallow shooter!!

Reading cards, while trying to keep track of all the presents.

Three youngest cousins all hanging out together.  I love this!

Happy 6th Birthday to Coop!

Happy Birthday little man....  It's almost impossible to believe you have turned 6!  He has been wanting to turn 6 since his 4th birthday!  He knew that's when school started.  Coop's birthday was on a Tuesday this year.  He celebrated first with his friends at school.  He brought fruit roll ups to share with all of his new friends at Hamlow.  I picked him up around 3:30, and we headed home to celebrate!

Opening his first present.

That's the face I was hoping for.  A new Galaxy tab just for him!  He plays games on it and watches movies and videos on it.  So far he has been really responsible with it and even shared with his sister a few times!

Hot wheels wall race track!

Bruiser and her new "Huksker" jersey...  Mom just couldn't resist getting her a little something....

Bean watching brother play a skater game.

Wall track all assembled!  The Husker wall in his room matches pretty good.  I have to give Hot Wheels props on this one!  No track clutter on the floor!!!  You can buy more wall tracks and connect them too.  How cool!  He could have a whole wall full by Christmas!!

Smile little man!  Happy Birthday!

Oh the awkward smile and we all sing to him...

Deep breath!  (Love Kylee's smile!)

Make a wish!

Lovin' the cake!  We also had a birthday dinner of pizza and chips & dip.  He spent the rest of his night playing with his new toys.  He thinks at 7 he doesn't need a booster in the car anymore...  always looking forward to what happens with the next birthday.
