Easter Day!!

The Easter bunny that came to mommy's house was pretty silly this year.  He dropped eggs off at the bedroom doors and left trails leading to their baskets.

Kylee peeking over the banister to see if the bunny was still there!

Finding their Easter baskets!

Kylee sharing her eggs with brother....

Checking out the loot!

Look at all those eggs!

We met grandma Sally at Mahoney Park.  Grandma his hiding eggs right now.

Kylee was NOT happy about the wind this day...  She spent a lot of time with the hood up trying to block the wind out.

Another Easter egg hunt!

Pre-Easter FUN!

We decided to visit the Easter Bunny at Barnes and Noble Bookstore.  The Easter bunny came and read books to us.

She read three different stories, the kids were pretty intent on listening to the stories.

They got a chance to go and give her a hug, and then got some candy of course!

Next we headed back home to dye eggs.  Look at the excited little smiles!

Kylee dyeing only half of her egg...

The finished product!!

The next day the Waverly JC's held an Easter egg hunt in town.  Kylee running for a hug.

Coop getting his hug, and happy this one's a boy!

Coop getting ready at the finish line!  He found a friend from school at the starting line from Faith so that helped him get a little more excited.

Kylee getting ready for her first egg hunt!

They had eggs and fruit snacks on the ground.  She wanted nothing to do with the fruit snacks!  She actually walked over the top of them to get to the eggs!

Last egg!

Coop's egg hunt was over in the blink of an eye.  Those older kids really gobbled them up fast! So only one good pic of Coop collecting eggs.  Luckily he had a few more egg hunts headed his way!

It started out as a bike ride...

One night a week or so ago the kids and I decided to go on a bike ride.  Well... the kids biked and I ran/walked along side them.  We rode about a mile over to a park that has a pond in back of it.  On this particular night the kids were intent on needing to get close to the pond.  In the past I have not allowed it because it was pretty muddy.  On this night they were sitting in "the spot" I had allowed them to sit in before.  Meaning where it wasn't too muddy...  What actually happened here started out as a bit of a fight if you can believe it from the picture below.  Kylee had put her arm around Coop and he was mad and wanted to be left alone... Kylee started to cry saying "that not nice... brother".  I've been working on letting them work it out, so I stood back and listened.  Coop put his arm around her and said "okaaay"! Next thing you know Kylee had done the same and out came my camera phone...  I was so nervous I would miss the shot!  Anyway I took it to work and a friend of mine help me doctor the photo.  I wanted it black and white with the kids in color.  This is what we ended up with!  I hope they are always this close and there for each other...  Even if it is just an arm on the shoulder when it's needed most.

They are what life is all about... They fill my heart with so much happiness and love!

This was right before the first pic was taken... Kylee looks like she is just looking for something ornery to do!

When I commented on their sweetness for each other they both turned around quickly and almost have that look of... "what we weren't doing anything"...

Decided to let them down closer to the water since the mud was pretty much dry.  They decided to throw dirt clods into the water.  My thought... at least it wasn't at each other!

We made our way to one more park that night...  This one has some older toys, but the kids still think they are fun.  They can use good imaginations anyway!

Here they are pretending to be gold diggers!!

We try and do bike rides a few days a week.  Both kids are learning quickly how to stop their bikes, look both ways to cross the street and turning right from left.  Coop is great with his right and left!  Coop loves his mow-hawk helmet and Kylee loves her Dora helmet!  Great memories to last forever....

Love to you all <3
