Paint Yourself Silly

The kids and I decided to try painting some pottery... It's a place called paint yourself silly!! And that we did! You start by picking out an item to paint. Coop picked out a Dinosaur, Kylee a piggy bank, and me a mixing bowl. Then you pick out what colors you want to paint with and away you go!

Coop decided his dino's name was Husker. His colors were of course red, white and black!

Kylee had a combo of purple, pink, and black!

She did a GREAT job of making sure the piggy had lots of color in her own 2 year old way...

I painted my bowl blue and purple and had the kids add their hand prints on the side.

SUCH concintration from both of them!!

Showing off the beautiful little smile!

Proud of her new piggy!!

Quick pose at the end. They were getting a little silly here so we had to make it quick!! We had a great time! Once you finish you turn in the painted items and they fire the clay for you. In 7 days you return to pick it up.

Here is the finished product! We will for sure do this again, it was a great winter activity for us!

Take care everyone! Love Coop, Kylee, & Stacey

Christmas with Schwartz Family

We celebrated Christmas on New Year's Eve. It was wonderful seeing the family together. The kids kept us all busy! Coop had almost everyone outside playing football. Of course for those of you that have played with him before you understand you play Cooper's rules and if you want to be the winner you have to play on Cooper's team! LOL it's pretty funny to listen to him argue his rules when you think you might have beaten him! We had some of dad's yummy chili and Grandma Wendy made some awesome meatballs that Colin and Hanna helped make. Jaxon has such a big smile it was great getting to see him smile and start to interact with Coop and Kylee. They will be great buds some day! Enjoy the pic's

A little reindeer feed...

Cooper made some reindeer food and decided to share a little with his sister. The sprinkled it over the lawn and sidewalk. Once it gets dark it sparkles to help santa and his reindeer find our house. I was a gorgeous day the day we did this. The kids did not even need coats!!

Cookies & Milk & a Little Something for Rudolph too!

We decided to make one giant cookie for santa this year. We make him a sugar cookie, with lots of frosting, some milk and a few carrots for the reindeer.... They enjoyed making the cookie but I am pretty sure their favorite part was the frosting!!! They did a great job check out a few pic's from below. They decided putting their names on the cake would help him remember who's house they were at.
